Day 01: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Arrival – Hanoi Sightseeing Tours

Xin Chao! Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of unified Vietnam. Being founded in 1010 on the right bank of the Red River, the city was then known as ‘Thang Long’, roughly translated as “Soaring Dragon.” Hanoi comes out in mind as one of the most charming cities in South East Asia with its authentic street scenes, large shady avenues, numerous lakes, manicured gardens and well-preserved architecture.

On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your desired hotel for check- in and tour briefing. Time permitting, take an orientation walking tour around and a chance to acclimatize ourselves. Free evening.

Day 02: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Hanoi City Tours – Night Train to Sapa

Today you’ll be on a full day tour to discover the most outstanding attractions of Hanoi. First, visit Ngoc Ha, the only village remains in the inner city. Originally formed long ago, it is now just like an oasis surrounded by the high- risers due to the urbanization. It used to be the village that grew the flowers and bonsai trees for the city daily consumptions. Herein, the circle walk starts from the village communal house and ends by the Hữu Tiệp Lake where the wreckage of a B52 that was shot down in the famous Christmas bombing of 1972. The village shows the great contrast between now& past. Additionally, when you take a walk through the village you’ll have a chance to view and experience the local life and interact with them.

Then, continue to Ba Dinh Square where you’ll see Uncle Ho’s resting place, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda – all “must see” landmarks.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the famous Temple of Literature that was built in 1070 and best known as the First National University. Next, visit the Hanoi Hilton where the POW’s were formerly imprisoned.

Now, it’s time to chill out through the Old Quarter with a cyclo ride. The charming area is best known with its small alleys, old houses, charming little cafes, boutique shops and variety of food on the street, such as corn on the cob, juicy mango or young rice wrapped in lotus leaf ….Disembark at Ta Hien Street where you find yourself among thousands of the locals who sit on the small stool and enjoy a glass of local beer. Sit down and do what the locals do!

Getting back to our hotel later this afternoon for relaxing, shower then serve yourself dinner before being transferred to Hanoi station for night train to Sapa

Day 03: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Sapa Adventure Trekking Tours to Cat Cat & Sin Chai Villages

Upon arrival in Lao Cai station, bus transfers to Sapa town then have breakfast in the hotel before trekking down to Cat Cat and Shin Chai villages of Black H’mong tribe. Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and beautiful scenery along the way. After having lunch, trek back to the hotel for shower then enjoy the night in Sapa town (App.4hours trekking/8km)

Day 04: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Sapa Adventure Trekking Tours to Lao Chai – Ta Van Villages – Night Train to Hanoi

After breakfast and get ready for the trip, trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Dzay tribes then keep going along the bottom of Sapa valleys to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be one of the most beautiful area. Have a picnic lunch on the way, then get back to Sapa by jeep/motorbike. Transferring down to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi. (App.6 hours trekking/14km and 30 minutes riding)

Day 05: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Hanoi Sightseeing Tours to Halong bay – Halong Cruise Tours

Arriving back Hanoi at 05h30AM to have breakfast in our hotel then start your tour again for Halong bay at 08h00 by our bus from our hotel. A long the way to Halong bay, you will have a short break in Hai Duong city (20 minutes). Reaching to the harbor in Halong city at noon to get on cruise and have lunch on boat.

Having sightseeing to enjoy the natural heritage all over the world. Stopping to visit Sung Sot cave, taking photos and enjoying the bay views. Straight to Lan Ha bay for kayaking, swimming to discover “Tau Gau” cave, natural beaches, floating village, swimming… then have seafood for dinner. Relaxing or joining inn interest games on boat before spending a romantic night on cruise.

Day 06: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Halong Bay Cruise Tours – Hanoi

Getting up with fresh air and sunrise in the sea on the boat and then have breakfast, boat trip to return and visit the rest parts of Halong bay for 05 hours. Stop at Soi Sim beach for swimming and taking photos…. Having lunch in restaurant in Halong before getting on our bus to Hanoi, via Hai Duong city for a short break (30 minutes). Arriving back to our hotel – Hanoi at around 17h00 to check in and overnight in our deluxe room again.

Day 07: Northern Vietnam Family Tour for Escape to Sapa, Halong bay and Hanoi: Hanoi Sightseeing Tours to Hoa Lu – Tam Coc

You will be served breakfast in our restaurant then our bus comes to pick you up again for Ninh Binh province at around 08h00AM, enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visiting Hoa Lu citadel until 12h00 to have lunch at the restaurant. Taking the rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (three grottoes) for the rest of the day then you will be transferred to Hanoi in the evening at 18h00, overnight in our deluxe room.
