Tour Route Map

Overview

For this picturesque Dalat sightseeing tour, you have the chance to experience the beauty of Dalat highland city. Da Lat, the capital of Lam Dong Province in southern Vietnam’s Central Highlands, is centered around a lake and golf course, and surrounded by hills, pine forests, lakes and waterfalls. Known as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its distinctive temperate climate, Da Lat was developed as a resort by the French in the early 1900s, and many reminders of its colonial heritage remain.

Day by day

Your Itinerary

Day 1: PICTURESQUE DALAT SIGHTSEEING TOUR: HO CHI MINH CITY – DALAT (-/-/-)

This morning we leave Ho Chi Minh City and head for the hills, literally. The scenic 7-hour drive along Highway 20 to Da Lat will be broken up by stops at some of the tea and coffee plantations. We will stop for lunch at the picturesque Ponguar water falls, about 15km from the highway. Here you may have the opportunity of having your photo taken next to an elephant! Arriving at Da Lat, sometimes known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” by late to mid afternoon, there will be the chance for a short walk to get a feel for this delightful city.

O/N at hotel.

Day 2: PICTURESQUE DALAT SIGHTSEEING TOUR: DALAT (B/-/-)

In the morning, we take the visit to Linh Phuoc Pagoda: 9km East from the center, the most colorful decorated temple of Dalat, caved with tens of thousands of beer bottles and broken china. Then we continue the visit to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, the largest Zen Monastery of Vietnam. A boat trip on Tuyen Lam Lake to the fine forest, time for a walk and an elephant ride. After lunch at a restaurant, back to the pier.

In the afternoon, we visit Dalat Railways Station, which is remarkable with its architecture and its old steam locomotive. After visiting the crazy monk and Bao Dai house, free time for strolling in the Dalat City.
