Your Itinerary
Sa Pa is a quiet mountain town and home to a great diversity of ethnic minority peoples. The total population of 36,000 consists mostly of minority groups. Besides the Kinh (Viet) people (15%) there are mainly 5 ethnic groups in Sapa: Hmong 52%, Dao 25%, Tay 5%, Giay 2% and a small number of Xa Pho. Approximately 7,000 live in Sapa, the other 36,000 being scattered in small communes throughout the district.

You will leave the busy life behind to enjoy a nice walk in a not-so-touristy area as well as visit a small village of Black H’mong minority.
The ride commences from Sapa on a trail running through the beautiful gardens and lush pine forests. The walk continues through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery. During the day you will also be able to visit a local school.

You will then pass through the Black H’mong ethnic minority village of Ma Tra, a very small village. Here you can see the daily life of Black H’mong and Red Dao minorities, the two largest ethnic groups in the area The walk continues through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery.
