This image in death posture is enshrined at Wat Phu Khao Thong, Mu 1, Tambon Nam Phut, around 20 kilometers from the city. The head is the most distinctive feature of the image as it is decorated with a head-dress of the Nora dance called the Throet a holy and royal ornament of Southern Thailand’s indigenous dance performance.
