Ko Laem Ngob lies 17 Km. away from the inner city of Trat along 3184 Highway. The big pier where tourists can get ferry service to islands such as Ko Chang, Ko Kradat, Ko Wai, Ko Kood etc is about 500 meter far from the Office of the Amphoe. Besides, in the area tourists can find shops selling souvenirs, sea food shops and other products like shrimp paste, dried shrimp fish sauce and ngob (kind of hat worn by Thai female peasants made of bamboos and plam leaves) of different patterns
