The 1.2-kilometre bridge was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Itinerary :

After having breakfast at hotel, we’ll jump on our motorbikes to go straight to Amarapura and visit Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study; continue to the 150-year-old U Bein teak bridge, built in 1851 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital.
